Reseña del libro "Archedox: Part 1 (en Inglés)"

Konrad Kaplan is a philosopher who developed the concepts of intellectual ethics which have been included in the plot in this book. His statement is that there is no superiority of values, but what decides whether or not an idea is a valuable one is its usefulness - after all, ideas which do not bring us any benefits are hard to call useful ones. However, an idea's usefulness should be determined by our individual assessment. And so, we need to start thinking independently and stop relying only on the community's opinion. A person who does not think independently will always be prone to manipulation, and they will accept the opinions of other people, as they will not have an opinion of their own, and such a person will also submit to the views of other people, as well as to their decisions, which will not always be beneficial. Looking for personal happiness always means thinking independently, as if we do not understand ourselves, we will not be able to find our own way. What this book is about is finding yourself. Konrad Kaplan is also the author of a theory of immortality which is included in "Project indefinitely", where he claims that our consciousness is what determines us, and that consciousness is the ability to think individually. If we are not aware of something, it does not exist for us. And so, without any consciousness, we cannot even know about our own existence, as without consciousness, we do not know about anything, and thus: consciousness is the "I". Both of the books build one philosophical system, which has the goal of making us realize that "to be" means "to be oneself", as we cannot be somebody else, we can only be ourselves, and we can only pretend to be somebody else. Following your own path is not even a choice of what we will get, but a choice of what we will create ourselves. The "Archedox" book also addresses the issue of finding a compromise between being oneself and being in a society. We cannot survive without the community. However, the community imposes on us such behaviors which are the foundation of society, and so: how do we find a compromise with what "I" want and what the community in which I live wants from me? I do hope that this book will help us answer these questions.
