Reseña del libro "Bodhisattva's Teardrops (Chinese)"

"Bodhisattva's Teardrops" is a fairy tale about a personified Coin that was given life and has been acting as an antenna for Guan Yin Bodhisattva since thousands of years ago. The name Guan Yin is short for Guan Shi Yin, meaning "(The One Who) Perceives the Sounds of the World," because Guan Yin Bodhisattva comes to redeem whoever is in trouble by tracing the sound of sorrow. Guan Yin Bodhisattva, commonly known as "Goddess of Mercy" in English, is renowned for her compassion and mercy and hence has always been highly venerated by Mahayana Buddhists. Coin possesses certain miraculous powers that allow him to perceive the external world and people's mind, as well as to communicate and interact with Bodhisattvas, deities, spirits, fairies and the sentient beings by means of telepathy, thought-reading, thought-transfer, and etc. Coin also travels frequently to the past and the future, as well as around the physical and the metaphysical worlds by means of dreams in order to investigate and attain Buddha Dharma, as well as to perceive life and the Ultimate Reality. The well-known non-fictional and fictional figures who are the center of topics or who appear in this book because of their individual cause-dependence with Coin are Sunwukong (The Brave Monkey King), René Descartes, Charles R. Darwin, Dante Alighieri, Baoyu (a humanized magical jade), Lin sister, Old Man under the Moon, Chang-o (Goddess of the Moon), King of Hell, Heavenly Jade Emperor, King of Narcissus Wangbour, Spider fairies, Wangzhaojun (one of the Four Beauties), Mahayana-deva MasterXuanzang, Master Vimalakirti...etc.
