Bullying is a worldwide problem. But if we want to eliminate it, rather than simply reduce it, we must address the environments that breed both bullies and victims. This begins at home. In her book, Bullying, Evelyn Ekhator points out that children raised by loving parents in a safe, supportive home can learn both how to value themselves and others. One of the main obstacles to ending bullying is the false assumption that all bullies are the same.
