Reseña del libro "Chaos Has No Name (en Inglés)"

On a regular trip to the market Damian gets caught up in a religious attack in Jos, Nigeria. Fleeing to safety, Damian hides out with a brutally injured man, and a scared girl. Damian takes the girl home, and from there, they build a friendship that leads into romance. Careful not to ruin the relationship, Damian keeps quiet about a secret fantasy of his female friend. When another crisis happens weeks after, Damian is called, between receiving a gift from Rekiah, his friend, to receive the corpse of his mother. His broken heart too shattered to take it again, Damian runs to Lagos without informing his friend. Rekiah is distraught after she does not hear from Damian. Damian finds his way to the United Kingdom through his art, which Rekiah had helped revived with her gift of a drawing book and pencils. In the UK, Damian finds his feet, and works as a freelancer as a cartoonist for magazines and newspapers. He also works as a portrait painter, but later dropped it. He falls in love in the UK, gets married and thinks his life is finally settled until nightmares of his past hunts him. His dead mother calls out to him in his dream, and in a bid to relieve himself, he returns to the study and starts communicating with Rekiah through his drawings. Damian's behaviour worries his wife. When she finds out that he was 'in love' with another woman after she saw his drawings in his study, she seeks revenges and starts cheating too. Unfortunately, her new man, a colleague at work, was a douchebag. The man gets her into financial troubles, one she had to run away from. Damian starts chasing a gig to cover war in a war-thorn country as a reporter. He hoped that the contract will change his financial fortunes. In a twist of fate, he gets the gig but not to the war-thorn country he had hoped. He was to go to Jos to cover the persistent religious crisis. Damian wants to reject the gig but he knows it would be financial suicide to; plus, his wife thinks he should take the gig. She does not know his trauma. Damian's friend had arranged that he sees a therapist in Nigeria to help with his nightmares and PTSD. Damian and his wife return to Nigeria. However, the therapist Damian's friend had gotten from him is his ex-friend, Rekiah. Rekiah and Damian rekindle their unfinished relationship when Damian meets her for therapy. In a twist of fate, they start having sex and Damian professes his undying love to her. Unfortunately for Damian, his wife explorative nature sees her befriend their driver. The driver tells her what her husband has been doing, after she seduced the driver and slept with him. After spending days at Rekiah's, Damian returns home to officially end his marriage but he is treated like a king by his wife. After one of the most mind-blowing sex he'd ever had from her, Damian wakes to find his hands cuffed to the bed. Surprised, he asked his wife what was going on. She explained to him, while he was cuffed, that she knew what he was doing. She poisoned him. However, before Damian is swallowed by darkness, he sees Rekiah and his wife smile sheepishly at him.
