The very next evening Aimee asked me to retell her the story, and the parts that I had forgotten she promptly corrected and filled in for me. It was this that made me realise that my simple story had captured her imagination, and that it was a story worth giving to the children of the world. As a child Cinderella captured my soul by her beautiful spirit and kind nature that won her the prince's heart; the bluebell fairy captures the soul for the unselfish love of her forest work and wins her heart's desire. "Birth of Spectrum" is about compassion for others, a way to understanding how others feel. "Cheslam's Quest" is a reminder that all of us are unique and we only need to see it for ourselves, not others.
