Simon Wright (author of 'West Brom's Cult Heroes' and 'West Brom's Greatest Games'), examines how Albion slipped into the League's third tier and escaped Phoenix-like, only after two years of intense struggle, thus taking the all-important first step towards the Premier League. His narrative is weaved around his own first-hand experiences leavened with numerous humourous anecdotes and supported by numerous quotes and memories from players, management, Chairmen and supporters. Flight of the Throstles, originally an e-book, had its first print edition in 2014. This updated version includes additional material and - for the first time - a variety of images of which some have never previously been published.
