Their members sometimes spent much of their short lives fleeing from the law. Killing was often an act of survival. To a few, it was a way of life. Conversely, there were able peace officers intent on bringing outlaws to justice. Lawmen such as Bill Tilghman, Virgil Earp and Dee Harkey risked their lives for little monetary compensation and a dedication to their badge and what it represented. Gunfighters of the Old West II strives to present the authenticity behind the individuals and events that are so much a part of American frontier folklore.
