Reseña del libro "Hott Motors"

In this story we follow along as various factions are attempting to over throw one another all for different causes and different reasons. The old way is incarcerated and planning for a methodical return and rise to power. An opposite incarcerated party wishes to destroy the old way just for the fun of it, he may never be released but that doesn't stop him from wanting to destroy the old way, bury every ounce of hope it may have to return to form. On the outside people always have that incline or that itch to be a rebel and break the rules however they become their own enforcer, a helping hand pushes you to drench yourself even further into the abyss until there is nowhere for you to go other than where your own doing has taken you. Down a deep path to becoming a criminal. There is one person who offers you a way out at every step, yet, because it feels good or it's something you want mischief wins out and this person can also satisfy that road. This person acquired the nick-name of "El Diablo", when in reality he just acts as a mediator, who always himself strives for the goodness in people, it is their own perception of him which casts him in your eyes to one side or the other. Nobody is officially blackmailed by him, he simply persuades or asks people for things, but they obey because of what they fear him to have over them, most people fear El Diablo, except Pablo. Pablo believes he is better than El Diablo, he believes El Diablo doesn't include him as much because he knows he can beat him, a rivalry has always stood in between these two individuals until fate itself builds a showdown to see if he really is worthy of taking El Diablo's place. The final straw or the last drop of water to tip over the glass comes in the form of our protagonist Garrett Lee. If the universe is built on a reaction for an action then Garrett will stop all of time, his will cannot be swayed in one direction or another, he does not fall into trends or fears of the masses due to he has grown up largely isolated in a congested city. Garrett alone will have the key, unknowingly, to select his friend Pablo as the next Diablo, or spare the life of Agusto Reyes risking being blackmailed by him for the rest of his life, if he believes in that kind of stuff.Throughout this story we will read that Garrett does not have vices, crime does not interest him, fame does not interest him, love? As much as Garrett yearned to be in the graces of a woman with whom he had a large crush on, even she is dispensable to him. There is something far greater to him and a lot closer to his heart, and that is driving cars. El Diablo gives Garrett the opportunity to unleash that which he could lose himself for, driving fast. Garrett is engulfed in the excitement of driving and being successful at driving fast cars, one race leads to another which leads to another, everything Garrett wanted in life is coming true right before his eyes but watch out Garrett deals with the Devil always have a price and it could cost you your Soul..... Follow Garrett Lee as he slowly comes to understand a balance between all things that he loves and what he would do to defend them, the love for his father, the passion he feels for his crush Dayana, and the intoxicating rush or driving fast cars while growing up at the same time.
