Reseña del libro "How to Grow Your Medical Practice by Certifying Patients on the Georgia Low THC Oil Registry (en Inglés)"

Georgia's Hope Act took effect on July 1, 2019, allowing certain patients in Georgia to possess low THC oil if they possess a low THC oil registration card issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Low THC Oil is defined as an oil that contains an amount of THC of not more than 5% by weight. Patients with select conditions and diseases listed under Georgia law qualify to obtain a Low THC Oil Registry Card, including cancer, ALS, seizure disorders, MS, Crohn's disease, mitochondrial disease, Parkinson's disease, sickle cell disease, Tourette's syndrome, autism, epidermolysis bullosa, Alzheimer's disease, AIDS, peripheral neuropathy, PTSD, and intractable pain. Treating physicians can certify a patient. Physicians may register with the Georgia Department of Public Health to certify eligible patients. Registering patients on the Georgia Low THC Oil Registry does not violate state or federal law. Georgia physicians are exempt by law from arrest, prosecution, or penalty for registering patients. The act of certifying a patient is only certification of their condition and not writing a prescription. For certification, physicians complete a certification form and patients complete a waiver form. The Georgia Department of Public Health has published a Georgia Low THC Oil Registry User Guide. Patients are notified when their card is ready for pick up at 1 of 20 public health offices, where they would pay a $25 for the card. The Georgia Medical Cannabis Commission will issue licenses to companies who will produce low THC oil. The Georgia Board of Pharmacy will promulgate rules and regulation for dispensaries in Georgia. Currently, thousands of qualified patients are holders of the Georgia Low THC Registry cards. With recent addition of more conditions, the number of qualified patients will grow exponentially. For example, with the addition of intractable pain as a condition, many will seek cards for relief. This presents a big opportunity for physicians to grow their practice by serving a huge patient base. This book will show physicians and medical practices how to connect with patients with qualifying conditions for the Georgia Low THC Oil registration card. This text will discuss advanced marketing systems specifically tailored to attract qualified patients, including online lead generation, website development, SEO management, reputation management, social media management, and targeted social media ads.
