This insect is threatened by parasitic attacks such as varroa mite.Varroasis is a parasitic disease caused by the ectoparasite Varroa jacobsoni. To combat the varroa mite, beekeepers use conventional methods that are harmful to both bees and the environment. This work is part of a major research project to develop the scientific value of medicinal plants.
