Reseña del libro "Just Passing Through (en Inglés)"
Herman Daldin began taking Piano Lessons at the age of 7 and at the age of 17 he put together a 5 piece orchestra. They played for weddings, parties and for dances. Herman was so pleased with my results that he began studying music seriously. He played with the Orchestra and Band of Kent State University and the University of Michigan. While playing with his 5 piece band, Herman Daldin was called upon to transpose music for the members of his orchestra. He would find words and phrases written on Music sheets and he had a difficult time finding the meanings of the words and phrases. So, Herman decided to search for the meanings and compile his answers. A few years ago, he realized that he had enough material to put in a book and get it out to other Music Students and Teachers. Herman Daldin has always been interested in music and continued studying and performing throughout his 90 years of life. While in High School he sang the leading role in "Jerry of Jerrico Road". He studied Tap Dancing for 2 years. Seven years ago, Herman joined a Lip-synch group and begain performing to entertain audiences. Last year he performed and acted as MC in over 50 shows. He is still performing and he intends to continue doing so.
