Peter Santino lives in his hometown of Eureka, county seat of Humboldt, on the far North Coast of California. Returned home after international and national exhibitions of his art; returned home after years of living in Seattle, New York City and Tuscany. Precisely chosen words having been a central theme in his paintings and drawings since 1968, the myriad clusters of evocative text in this Sea Story make LADY-FAME his most elaborate painting yet.
