And just as the "chromosomes" carry on their pages, the factors of life, and heredity to the newborn, these pages that you read, stained by my breath, carry within them some of me and a part of my life.Francis Tanos Dagher authored numerous books: ● Chebel El Maghara (Cubs of the Cave) Biography of Shibli and Habib Dagher and the history of Dahr el-Maghara, Toronto - 1993 ● Rawdat El Adab Fi Bawadi El Arab (Verdure of literature in the Valley of the Arabs) Trilogy, Toronto- 1995 ● Fi El Bal Ya Omri (Memories forever in my mind) Toronto - 1996● Soubhanak Allahouma (Glory be to God) Toronto - 1998 ● Nafathat Tayha (A Lost Breath) Toronto - 2005 فرنسيس طانوس داغرأديب وشاعر، من مواليد ضهر المغارة-لبنان، في 20 تشرين الثاني 1938.تخرَّج أستاذًا من دار المعلِّمين التابع لوزارة التربية اللبنانيَّة، وأصبح معلِّمًا ومديرًا في مدرسة قرية "ضهر المغارة" منذ عام 1957 حتَّى هجرته إلى كندا سنة 1990. ساهم في تأسيس "نادي الإصلاح الثقافي الرياضي" في القرية سنة 1964. علَّم في العديد من مدارس بيروت في أثناء الحرب الأهليَّة.شارك في "أمسيات شعريَّة" في تورونتو-كندا، وساهم في تأسيس رابطة المعلمين اللبنانيين في تورونتو-كندا، سنة 1994.توفي في كندا، في 30 كانون الأوَّل 2006. وله العديد من المؤلَّفات - شبل المغارة سيرة حياة شبلي وحبيب داغر وتاريخ ضهر المغارة، تورونتو-كندا، 1993.- روضات الأدب في بوادي العرب (ثلاث مجلَّدات)، تورونتو-كندا، 1995.- في البال يا عمري، تورونتو-كندا، 1996.- نفثاتٌ تائهة، تورونتو-كندا، 2005.
