She's the only impediment in his life, and he wants his freedom. Greg devises a plan to murder Cici and acts on it. Greg is afraid a crafty Detective Crabbe will find him guilty of the crime. He goes to incredible lengths to set up his friend, Merv Grady, as the suspect. Later, he meets his mistress, Della Summer. When she learns Greg has a dark side, she wants to aid Crabbe in arresting him.
