The book SODAN JÄLJET is in the Finnish language. It tells about the war experience of the North Häme I Batallion and it s leader Major Hans Kalm during the Finnish Independence War in 1918. The Batallion was part of the North Häme Reqiment and was together with the Jämsä group, led by Wilkmann. At the beginning these groups manned and secured the Häme area of Kuhmoinen. During the attack stage the Batallion led by Kalm had an important role in the combat area west of Lake Päijänne which led to the final defeat of the Reds at the beginning of May in 1918. The book SODAN JÄLJET follows the routes taken during the Independence War in the winter of 1918, shows the combat areas and adds photos of the scenery taken recently. This book is true history.
