This book is the third one in a series which are highly recommended for recreational reading. It will serve effectively as a great text for self-learners, and particularly for teachers and instructors of both k-12 and higher education. It is equally excellent for teaching (or learning) various components of Language Arts including: Reading, Creative writing, and Composition, Vocabulary and Comprehension. Each of the segmented short stories is followed by no less than ten comprehension questions. The Short Stories of The Great Seaport which specifically embodies a collection of all the stories and activities of the series, also incorporates the various interactive projects briefly explored in the selective series of the short stories. The suggested projects are carved to assist the interested reader further, in learning to internalize, demonstrate and practically apply some of the key lessons of the stories. The learners and instructors will find the nature of the suggested projects to be definitely engaging, encouraging the building of cooperative learning skills, and a positive step towards the achievement of related career objectives.
