Reseña del libro "The Lost Soul of a Nation: The Battle of Consciousness Against Mediocrity"

It's all about the reality that we're all facing and undergoing because some people have set up another life on us against our will. Life we are imposed to live, life we never thought about. This book is about a country that has been created in the centre of Africa and set up against the will of its people. It is a state that has been imposed without taking into account the identity and soul of its people. It is a country that is desperately seeking to bring out a soul on which it will build its nation. However, despite all attempts and tribulations, the expected nation has yet to see the light of day.Conflicts are succeeding at such a frightful rate that no one can pinpoint what is preventing this nation from being born. By thoroughly examining the historical situation of this country, from its creation at the famous Berlin Conference under the aegis of the International Association of the Congo (IAC) led by the King of Belgium Leopold II to after 80 years of colonisation until its independence as a sovereign state, all stages have been visited so that we can make meaning of them. Nothing has been neglected - mismanagement, successive dictatorships and recurring wars that end and reappear to the dismay of the people.Throughout the pages and chapters of this book, it was necessary to examine everything - the national, regional and international context. It was also necessary to open some closed cupboards to search national consciousness for what is being hidden from the eyes of these people and what no one wants to divulge in fear of offending the international political microcosm. Unearthing these will help us understand the fate of this country, the limits of shame, the humiliation of a nation and the confusion of a disturbed soul. After putting a finger on what disturbs the ignorance of the people, the mediocrity of a political class sprawled in the politics of saliva and belly, regional and international predation, we found a solution among all of those solutions proposed by the Congolese and international community. All analysts of the Congolese crisis - historians, sociologists, philosophers, politicians, freethinkers, all economic and political analysts - have come to the same conclusion that the Congolese crisis has been caused by violence and falsehood that have developed into a system from the independent Free State of the Congo to present day. Nothing has changed. However, as long as the physical and clinical death of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is neither detected nor declared, nothing is lost. However, even if the analysts agree on the symptoms at the bedside of the patient, the doctors will procrastinate while prescribing from the remedies to be administered to this exceptional patient. Since the old democracies have become more or less stable references, many believe in the magic of the polls to achieve change. Should we believe that the legitimacy of the ballot would be an adequate response to Congolese political evil? Or shall we believe that the polls contain the remedies needed to curb Congolese evil? The Congolese problem seems to be fundamentally a problem of national consciousness, which leads to change in lifestyles, mentalities, individual and collective behaviours. Thus, it seemed obvious to us to propose a revolution to the Congolese people. But in comparison with all other revolutions the world has sustained, and as international law recognises the right of every person to dispose of itself before relying on humanity, the great changes in the Congo must necessarily be preceded, ratified and guaranteed by a "breaking revolution," which is based on a major political upheaval, major structural, legal and institutional reforms that are capable of responding to the vision of the rule of law, democratic stability, social justice, improving knowledge, wellbeing, individual and collective standard of living of the Congolese people. But a question still persists?
