n a chance meeting at a local grocery store, Ella Perlman spots Albert Abraham after having not seen him in over 60 years, when they were both teenagers in love. Given a second chance, Ella is determined not to let Albert leave her sight again and rushes him, and his more than willing family, into her rather decorative lifestyle. Knowing Ella will ask why he left her, what she may have done wrong and where he has been this entire time, Albert is more than unwilling to rekindle any sort of relationship. After discovering there is more to Albert and Ella's relationship than he ever imagined, Geoffrey - who forms a bond with Ella's granddaughter Madilyn - pushes even harder for them to reunite. However, at 82 Albert does not want to dig up such intense past memories. Plus, telling Ella the truth could very well destroy her, leaving her with even more questions about their past than ever before.
